Downtown Hotels
Ross's Landing sits in the heart of downtown, so the closest hotels put you steps from the festival gates and the riverfront. Group-rate hotel blocks are listed above. For the full city lodging guide, visit the Chattanooga Tourism Co..
Camping
Chattanooga has real camping options within striking distance of downtown — from lakeside tent sites to full RV hookups.
- Chester Frost Park — County-run campground on Chickamauga Lake, about 15 minutes from Ross's Landing. Tent and RV sites, boat ramps, swimming. One of the most popular spots for festival weekends.
- Harrison Bay State Park — Full-service state park campground on Chickamauga Lake, ~20 minutes out. Electric and primitive sites, clean facilities.
- Raccoon Mountain Campground — About 10 minutes from downtown on the west side. RV-friendly with hookups, plus easy access to the Raccoon Mountain trails.
Book early — festival weekend fills up fast. Check each park's site for 2026 availability.
Airbnb Neighborhoods
If you'd rather have your own place, these neighborhoods keep you close:
- Downtown / Riverfront — walk to everything.
- North Shore — across the river, a quick bridge walk, full of food and coffee.
- Southside — the arts-and-eats district, a short rideshare to Ross's Landing.
Getting Around
- Public transit — downtown Chattanooga's free electric shuttle (CARTA) runs through the core and connects to the riverfront.
- Bike rental — Bike Chattanooga bike share has stations downtown. Biking is, in our professional opinion, pretty fun. ;)
- Rideshare — Uber and Lyft are active downtown. Drop-off at Ross's Landing is straightforward.
Non-Traditional Lodging
Not a hotel person? Good. Chattanooga's got options:
- Airbnb & VRBO — Plenty of listings in Downtown, North Shore, and Southside. All within easy distance of Ross's Landing. Book early — festival weekend goes fast.
- Hostels — Chattanooga has a small but solid hostel scene for the budget-conscious and social crowd.
- RV parks — Chester Frost Park and Harrison Bay both have RV hookups. Raccoon Mountain Campground is closer to downtown with full RV amenities.
- Unique stays — Treehouses, cabin rentals, and riverfront properties pop up on Airbnb. Worth a search if you want something memorable.
